Students of the ASCENTIAL DANCE school may choose to concentrate in specialized areas including arts education, community arts outreach and advocacy, choreography, performance, production, arts administration, or academics and research.

The Ascential Dance program strives to offer progressive artistic education.  At our school, traditional and contemporary syllabi are combined to form a complete “living” dance curriculum. 

As students become further skilled at combining movement and sound, they will study and utilize dance terminology, history, anthropology, anatomy and spatial perception as tools to compliment their learning. 

An “ascential” portion of their education will include discussion, community outreach and special projects which aim to generate forward-thinking artistic individuals who enjoy and admire dance.

2011 - 2012, Term Dates (10 week sessions)

 Summer Break: June 5 - July 31, 2011

• Summer Term 2011, August 1 - October 9

• Fall Term 2011, October 10 - December 18
  

Winter Break: December 19, 2011 - January 15, 2012

• Winter Term 2012, January 16 - March 24
  

No Spring Break This Year!
